Curriculum

We envision creating a new generation of conscious young leaders by interweaving enriching learning experiences into the day to day life of learners. S. D. Adarsh Vidyalaya offers an enriched environment including academic simulation and many socialization opportunities for children. We are committed to groom confident and enlightened individuals through a multi-dimensional curriculum which focuses on synergizing knowledge and abilities.

At S.D. Adarsh Vidyalaya, the highly qualified faculty concentrates on maximising the potential of the students. Personalized instruction based on the requirements of the pupils is also emphasised. With an aim to impart student centred holistic education and to translate the significant changes envisioned by the NEP onto ground level, very clear targets have been laid out and to address these targets various activities and programs catering to scholastic aspects have been designed meticulously. Pre-Primary

NEP based Curriculum:

·   This stage of education typically caters to children aged three to five years.

        An equal focus is laid on preparing students for the prescribed CBSE syllabus and on preparing them for the various competitive entrance examinations Result oriented training is imparted by experienced professionals who target for total development and desired success.  Students have complete access to the various laboratories and library resources, specially designed for the study and research requirements of the senior level students including the smart classes and 3-D modules. Frequent Career Counselling and Academic Counselling are the regular feature. Students are given exposure by frequent Interschool competition that adds to their knowledge and personality. Life Skill classes help them find the remedies for any stress and prepare them to face challenges of life.

         

        Co- Scholastic Areas: 

        Co-curricular activities aim at development and using knowledge and skills in different fields to groom the overall personality and character of the students. It includes Health and Physical Education including Work Education and SEWA, various Creative Arts like Painting, Crafts, Dance and Music, and social activities.

         General Studies:

        The purpose of orienting students to General Studies is to develop in them an appreciation for the holistic nature of knowledge. In contemporary times, familiarity with General Studies is indispensable. The whole course of General Studies is, therefore, focused on proper development of the ‘affective domain’ by exposing the students to varied domains of study.
