An insight of this pattern

"I am always ready to learn but, I do not always like being taught."

-- Winston Churchill

This has been taken care by CBSE by introducing CCE pattern for the holistic development and assessment of a learner.
Learning is a continuous process so we as teachers & parents should also be well versed with the system Education aims at making children capable of becoming responsible productive & useful members of the society. A diagnostic and remedial approach is followed to provide a solution to all learning difficulties of the learner. The teacher acts as a facilitator to cater to the variety of needs of the learner. Assessment being an integral part gives valid information concerning student progress so we identify learning progress of students at regular time intervals on small portions of contact. Employing a variety of remedial measures of teaching based on learning needs and potential of different students. Desisting from using negative comments on the learner’s performance thus encouraging learning.

Mode of Assessment
  • Both the scholastic and the co-scholastic aspects of the students’ growth and development are given equal emphasis and likewise assessments are carried out.
  • A variety of tools and techniques (both testing and non-testing) are used in assessing the learner’s development in the various areas of learning. On the basis of the diagnosis remedial measures are taken from time to time.
  • Both Formative and Summative Assessments are carried out.
  • Students are assessed in the Co-Scholastic areas as well.

Examinations and Unit Tests
